Chris has spent most of his career advising public and private equity and mortgage REITs and real estate funds (primarily perpetual-life NAV REITs and funds) on corporate and securities matters including fund formation, public securities offerings, private placements, broker-dealer compliance, tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance and ongoing securities law compliance.
Chris has over 18 years of experience working on these matters for leading sponsors of alternative investment products and helping them navigate SEC, blue sky and FINRA oversight.
Chris has led numerous offerings and other matters for programs sponsored by Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, Ares, Inland Real Estate Group, CNL, KBS, Pacific Oak, Behringer Harvard, Walton International and Wells Real Estate Funds, among others.
